As a comedian, I personally understand how important it is to get emotional support while practicing your craft. My comedic experience and professional training as a psychotherapist led me to work with funny people. I am committed to listening, supporting, and encouraging you to accomplish your goals.
I am a licensed psychotherapist, LMFT#48794. I received my BS at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where I dabbled in politics and theater. Rollins College has some quirky alumni like Mr. Rogers, Buddy Ebsen from The Beverly Hillbillies, and Tony Perkins from Psycho I received my Masters in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles with a 4.0 average (I know total nerd).
I studied theater, did some acting, took a Groundings class, and had a long running improv show at LA Connection in Sherman Oaks, CA. I am a graduate of the Lisa Maile Acting School. I’ve done open mics, bringer shows, and comedy to paying crowds. I MC’d in Orlando, Florida at the Comedy Zone and taught comedy traffic school. I’ve taken Judy Carter’s stand up class and performed at Flappers, Comedy Store, the Improv, and the Ice House.
But most of all, I love helping funny people.
